Description
DIR's CyberOps team watches network traffic on behalf of agencies across Texas, and intrusion prevention only works for as long as its licensing and support stay current.
Acachi sourced the FY26 renewal on DIR-CPO-5347, covering Cisco FirePower support and licensing along with 100G network modules for the FirePower platform, over a term to August 2026 with renewal options behind it.
Renewal work is unglamorous and load-bearing. The difference between a monitored network and an unmonitored one is often whether somebody remembered the license.
